Emulsifier for cationic bitumen emulsions ITERACID L-12

GENERAL INFORMATION AND BENEFITS

• ITERACID L- is used for the production of rapid setting cationic (acid) bitumen emulsions especially intended for tack coats and surface treatments.
• It is compatible with latexes for the production of elastomerised bitumen emulsions.

Generally 0.25 - 0.60% on the weight of bitumen emulsion*, depending on its intended use.

* It is always advisable to determine the optimal percentage through laboratory tests, as it may differ from the indicated ranges.

Mixture of amino derivatives (ethoxylated amine).

Drums.

Store in the original packaging, away from heat sources and sheltered from moisture, adverse weather and UV rays.

Avoid prolonged storage at temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C.

In case of prolonged storage at low temperatures, ITERACID L-12 can form a solid bottom; if this happens, heat to 40 ÷ 50°C and stir the product.
