The platens enable the testing of a wide variety of cylinder, cube, blocks or similar specimens.

  • Manufactured from high quality steel, which is then hardened, smoothed and finished
  • The roughness value for the surface texture of the platens are ≤ 3.2 µm
  • UTC-4512, UTC-4513, UTC-4517 and UTC- 4518 have centering rings on the lower platens for proper centering of 100 mm and 150 mm cube, 100 mm and 150 mm cylinder samples
  • Ø 300 mm UTC-4517 has an specimen centering apparatus on lower platen as standard for 150 mm cube

Lifting Device for Lower Loading Platen (UTC-4629) which can be used easy replacement of the distance pieces between the piston and the lower platen for setting the vertical clearence of the frames. The device should be ordered separately for UTC-4514, UTC-4516 and UTC-4519.
